Because if your listing isn’t optimised, even the best property can struggle to get noticed.
A great listing description does more than describe your space – it helps guests picture themselves there, builds trust, and boosts your visibility in crowded marketplaces like Airbnb and Stayz.
At BNB Made Easy, we’ve tested hundreds of listings and know what works. Here’s how to write a listing that doesn’t just attract views – but drives bookings.
Before you write a word, ask yourself: Who is this property perfect for?
Your title is prime real estate. It’s the first thing a guest sees, so make it pop.
Instead of: “2BR Unit in Dubbo”
Try: “Stylish 2BR Getaway • Walk to CBD • Fast Wi-Fi & Parking”
Use words that stand out like:
Keep it clear, benefit-focused, and under 50 characters if possible (so it doesn’t get cut off in search results).
Guests don’t want a checklist—they want to imagine their stay. Use the opening paragraph to set the scene:
“Welcome to your home away from home in the heart of Orange. Whether you’re visiting for work, wine, or a weekend escape, this beautifully styled 3-bedroom retreat has everything you need for a comfortable and memorable stay.”
Then structure your listing into digestible sections:
Make it easy to skim and always end with a call to action like “Book now for a relaxing stay in one of Dubbo’s most popular homes.”
Platforms like Airbnb do use SEO. Including relevant keywords can help your listing show up in more searches.
Think: “Orange short-term rental,” “Wagga pet-friendly Airbnb,” “Corporate accommodation Dubbo” etc.
Use natural, guest-focused language first – Google and Airbnb will reward clarity and relevance.
